Vapor Noir invented an entirely new aesthetic for this commission with Persona La Ave, directing, shooting, and editing the music video for "Can I Be the One."

Shot on mid-1990s broadcast television cameras hybridized with modern analog to digital upscalers, the video reveals the true quality of these cameras for the first time. Technical limitations in the 1990s made it impossible to see what they were actually capturing.

The image in this film is what those cameras always looked like. Nobody had seen it before.
